About us

Independent. Transparent. Built for homeowners.

Domicy exists to give homeowners in Cyprus the clarity, tools and guidance to make informed decisions.

Our Purpose

Planning a home in Cyprus means unclear prices, hard-to-read quotations, VAT rules and permit routes. Domicy brings this together in five free tools, each usable on its own.

Homeowners will never pay to use Domicy. That is our promise.

How Domicy Works

  1. 01

    Create a project

Set the project type, district and the details of the home you are planning.

  2. 02

    Calculate an initial budget

Build an early cost estimate using current categories and market information.

  3. 03

    Find the permits you need

Understand which permits and approvals may apply before work begins.

  4. 04

    Upload and check quotations

Review quote items, spot missing details and compare costs with relevant market ranges.

  5. 05

    See the full picture

Track your budget, documents, priorities and next steps from one dashboard.

Where our information comes from

Market ranges are built from several sources, and no partner or sponsor can change them. Official statistics are shown as labelled context only. Plot Finder shows official parcel data from the Department of Lands and Surveys and planning data from the Department of Town Planning and Housing, digitised by DLS (CC BY 4.0); its floor-area and footprint figures are Domicy's preliminary illustrations, not advice or permission to build.

01

A homeowner's own quotations

When a homeowner uploads a quote, Domicy uses it to help review that specific project. The document remains private.

02

Aggregated user information

Planned: with separate, optional permission, anonymised quote information could contribute to broader market ranges without exposing names, addresses or project documents.

03

A Cyprus wide data campaign

Planned: Domicy intends to gather market information directly from companies across construction, renovation and home improvement categories.

04

Trusted companies and partners

Planned: selected companies and partners may contribute current product, service and pricing information to improve coverage.

05

Accepted quotations shared freely

Planned: companies will be invited to share accepted quotations voluntarily, giving evidence of prices agreed in real projects.

Where a category does not yet have enough verified information, Domicy says so instead of showing a number that cannot be supported.

Our Principles

01

Independent.

Domicy is built to serve homeowners, not contractors, suppliers or advertisers. Every tool, recommendation and insight is designed to help people make informed decisions.

02

Transparent.

We believe people deserve to understand what they are paying for. Domicy promotes clarity by providing realistic market ranges, explaining costs, and making the building process easier to understand.

03

Built for Homeowners.

Building or renovating a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will ever make. Domicy exists to give every homeowner access to the knowledge, tools and guidance needed to plan with confidence.

Our promise

  • Our calculations are based on data, not sponsorships.
  • Quote analysis is always independent.
  • Sponsored content is clearly identified.
  • We never sell rankings or recommendations.
  • We protect the privacy of every user's data and documents.
  • Our goal is to help people make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes and build with confidence.

Privacy, sponsorship and limits — in short

Your privacy

Projects, quotations and documents stay private to your account. Quote prices are only added to market ranges with your separate agreement. You can delete your account and its data at any time.

Independence

No contractor, partner or sponsor can change Domicy's calculations, ranges or results.

Sponsorship

Clearly labelled sponsor positions help keep the tools free. Sponsors never see your quotes or personal information.

What results mean

Results are indicative planning guidance and may contain errors or omissions. They are not quotations, tax advice, planning permission or professional advice. Domicy is operated by A.C Tsangarides LTD.
